Ambrosio Martinez, Citizenship Department Coordinator
IDPL supports Latino immigrants and their families through education, training, and employment. IDPL provides free legal services to the Latino community.
IDPL holds two workshops per month at various locations throughout the city, primarily on the south side, and typically processes anywhere between 75-100 citizenship applications at each workshop. They are looking for law students to help them conduct legal screenings at their workshops which are staffed by 4-5 volunteer attorneys.
Workshops are three hours long and are typically held two Saturdays per month from 9am-12pm.
