Center for Disability and Elder Law
Caroline Manley, Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator
CDEL operates eight community Clinics throughout Cook County. The Clinics are designed to allow low-income seniors and people with disabilities the opportunity to access CDEL’s services in a more convenient setting. CDEL offers free legal services for a variety of legal issues, including simple estate planning, powers of attorney, uncontested divorces, consumer fraud, collections defense, guardianship, real property and landlord/tenant.
At the Clinics, volunteer attorneys and law students perform intake interviews, document review, and direct legal service.
