Fellows and Scholars

For nearly two decades the Law School has had the good fortune to host many now-established law and economics scholars. The program provides an opportunity for fellows to further their research and to participate in the day-to-day opportunities of the Law School and the University.

John M. Olin Scholar in Law and Economics

In 1994 the Law School created a position for a law and economics scholar, a junior position which would support the most promising young scholars who hold or who are receiving joint J.D./Ph.D. degrees, who are working at a professional level in law and economics but are candidates of a Ph.D., not a law degree, or are working on a J.S.D. degree  at the University of Chicago Law School.
