Join the Alumni Law Society (ALS), a new national UChicago alumni organization, for a networking reception and panel discussion on Corporate Governance at the Becker Friedman Institute this June. This event is open to alumni from all UChicago schools and graduate programs with an interest in law and the legal profession.

When: Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 pm

Schedule of Events

2:00 pm    Panel discussion highlighting for-profit and non-profit corporate governance developments. Panel features Nell Minow, JD'77, corporate governance law expert, and Tom Cole, Sidley Austin LLP, JD'75. The discussion will be moderated by M. Todd Henderson, JD'98, Michael J. Marks Professor of Law and Aaron Director Teaching Scholar.

3:00 pm    Alumni meet-and-greet networking session. Opportunity to mingle with other alums and explore new ALS sections and to meet the volunteer leaders of the ALS sections on corporate, technology, international, real estate, and nonprofit law.

4:00 pm    ALS Board Meeting. Open to all interested alumni wanting to learn more about the ALS organization and how to become a volunteer.
