NFL Draft Information: Road Closures & Draft Town

The NFL draft will be taking place in Chicago during Reunion Weekend 2015.

Please allow extra time for transportation throughout the city. You can view information about the draft and road closures by clicking here.

Draft Town is a free fan festival in downtown Chicago open April 30 – May 2, located at Grant
Park & Congress Plaza (East of Michigan Avenue). Click here for more information about Draft Town.

Road closures will not impact streets in Hyde Park.

Parking Recommendations

As noted above, the NFL draft will be taking place in Chicago this weekend. Please allow extra time to arrive at your destination. Below please find our recommendations for parking:

Friday, May 1

-Valet parking will be available at The Standard Club at the rate of $32.00.

-For other events taking place on Friday, we recommend the Millennium Park Garage and the Grant Park North Garage. Please click here for more details, including entrance closures/recommendations.

Saturday, May 2

-Complimentary parking will be available in the lot behind the Law School for those participating in Saturday's events.

-Valet will be available at a charge at the Law Journals Reception, Committee Reception, and Class Dinner restaurants. Valet charges will vary; please call the restaurant to confirm pricing.

Sunday, May 3

-Valet will be available at a charge at the Alumni Brunch at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Shuttle Service

The Law School will provide shuttles to and from downtown Chicago on Saturday, May 2. See the shuttle schedule below for more information.

8:30 a.m. & 8:45 a.m.: Shuttles to the Law School depart from the Gleacher Center (450 North Cityfront Plaza Drive)

8:30 a.m.: Shuttle to the Law School departs from the Ritz-Carlton hotel (160 E. Pearson Street)

1:30, 2:00, & 3:00 p.m.: Shuttles depart from the Law School, making stops at the Gleacher Center and the Ritz-Carlton hotel
