Law Students for Reproductive Justice present "Reproductive Justice and Biotechnology in the Genomic Age"

4/20

Open to the public

Law Students for Reproductive Justice is proud to present Northwestern University Professor Dorothy Roberts discussing Reproductive Justice and Biotechnology in the Genomic Age. The talk will focus on the new effort by companies to market biotechnologies that promise to extend the benefits of genetic research to people of color, and the expanding role of genetic screening that may support the wider incorporation of genetic technologies into the health care system.  Professor Roberts will argue that we need a new analysis of race, gender, and reproduction that accounts for the changing biopolitics in America.
