Amanda Greene

Amanda received her PhD in philosophy from Stanford University in 2014. She also holds an MPhil from Oxford University and a BA from the University of North Carolina. Her research focuses on political philosophy, ethics, and ancient philosophy. Her dissertation advanced a novel argument for the political legitimacy of democratic forms of government. Before graduate school, she worked as a strategy consultant in the private and non-profit sectors in the United States, India, and Australia. In 2014-2015, she will be the Law and Philosophy Fellow at the Law School. In the autumn of 2015, she will join the philosophy department at University College London.
