Easterbrook Receives 2014 Otis Award

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies presented the 2014 Otis Award to Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Frank Easterbrook, a Senior Lecturer in Law and a 1973 graduate of the Law School. The Lee Liberman Otis Award for Distinguished Service recognizes alumni who have shown dedication to public service and a commitment to the ideals of the Federalist Society: individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law.

Otis, '83, a chapter founder, was in attendance at the May 19 lunchtime event for Easterbrook. She spoke, as did Professor Douglas Baird and Professor Mary Anne Case.
