The Merits of US Involvement in Darfur

The Earl B. Dickerson Chapter of the Black Law Student Association at the University of Chicago Law School and the law firm Sidley Austin LLP are proud to sponsor a discussion on the merits of US involvement in the Darfur conflict.  On Wednesday, November 15, 2006, Eric Posner, Kirkland and Ellis Professor of Law, Jide Nzelibe, Assistant Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law, and Matthew Lippman, Professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago, will discuss US involvement in Darfur within the legal framework governing international humanitarian intervention.  The lecture will take place in Classroom II of the University of Chicago Law School at 12:15 pm.  The lecture is free and open to the public, but please note that seating is limited.  Lunch will be provided.  For more information, please contact Euler Bropleh.
