David C. Worrell ’76 named to Who's Who in Banking & Finance by the Indianapolis Business Journal

David C. Worrell, JD ’76, a partner at Baker & Daniels LLP, has been named to Who's Who in Banking & Finance by the Indianapolis Business Journal.

As a member of Baker & Daniels' business and corporate finance team, Worrell's expertise falls into four categories: financial institutions, securities, corporate governance and executive compensation, the IBJ reported. Worrell has represented banks and thrifts on strategic transactions, including formation of financial institutions and their holding companies and mergers and acquisitions. He gives counsel to boards of management of financial institutions on their responsibilities under banking laws and regulations, among other things, the IBJ reported.

Worrell has acted as issuer's and underwriter's counsel in numerous offerings of securities, private placements and venture capital transactions. He represents companies, compensation committees and executives on executive compensation arrangements, including stock-based or performance-based compensation, according to the IBJ story.

Worrell joined Baker & Daniels after graduating from the University of Chicago Law School in 1976. He grew up in Indianapolis, attended Cathedral High School and received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from Wabash College.
