James Santelle '83 Named U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin

James Santelle will be sworn in Wednesday at the federal court in Milwaukee. He'll become the 34th U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Santelle was appointed to the position in December by President Barack Obama.

Santelle has worked for the U.S. Justice Department for 25 years. His service included two years of legal work in Iraq to help develop an effective justice system.

He graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1983.
