The Social Service Project is directed by Michelle Geller who is a licensed clinical social worker, receiving her clinical license in 1991. She graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois and has over 30 years experience in her field. Before working at the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic, Ms. Geller spent 8 years as the Clinical Supervisor of the Aftercare Program at the Counseling Center of Lakeview. Additionally, she served as clinical consultant to Trilogy, Inc., supervising master level program supervisors and consulting on some of the agency's most challenging cases. Ms. Geller joined the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic in 1996 where she works collaboratively with clinic attorneys and law students as well as supervising students from the School of Social Service Administration.
