Thad Davis is a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focuses his practice primarily on the tax aspects of bankruptcy and restructuring, representing debtors, creditors, equity holders and investors in restructuring distressed companies. Thad received his BA from the the University of Chicago, his MFA in Playwriting from the University of Southern California and his JD from the University of Chicago Law School, with Honors.
