Wataru Tanaka
Wataru Tanaka is visiting the Law School on leave from Tokyo University, where he is associate professor of commercial law. After graduating from Tokyo University, he began his research in commercial and corporate law as research assistant at the Graduate School of Law and Politics, Tokyo University, in 1996. He became assistant professor of law in Seikei University, Tokyo, in 1999, and joined in the faculty of Institute of Social Science, Tokyo University, in 2007. He visited Yale University Law School as a visiting scholar from 2002 to 2004. His research interests are corporate law, securities regulation, bankruptcy, secured transactions, commercial law, and economic analysis of law.
