Michael D. Sher is of counsel in the Chicago law firm of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, and represents clients in complex civil litigation and in business-related criminal investigations, trials and appeals in federal and state judicial and administrative proceedings. From 1975-77, he served as a Staff Attorney with the Federal Defender Program for the Northern District of Illinois, representing defendants in criminal matters in the District Court and the Court of Appeals. He was a Lecturer in Law at The Law School from 1981-83, teaching trial practice. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he received his B.A. in 1971 from the University of Michigan and his J.D. in 1974 from the University of Wisconsin.
