Anthony Sexton is a tax partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on the tax aspects of complex business transactions and reorganizations, with a particular focus on the tax aspects of distressed companies and bankruptcy reorganizations. He spent two years as a restructuring associate before transitioning to Kirkland's tax group. Prior to joining Kirkland, he was a clerk for the Honorable Frank. H. Easterbrook of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Anthony graduated from the University of Chicago Law School with highest honors in 2011.
