Mark Schneider
Mark D. Schneider is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice. Mr. Schneider concentrates in practice before the federal appellate courts as well as the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Justice, with substantive concentrations in telecommunications, constitutional, and entertainment and new media law.
Mr. Schneider graduated with high honors from Swarthmore College in 1976. He received an M.Phil. in English literature from Oxford University (St. Edmund Hall) in 1979. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1983, after serving as an editor of the Columbia Law Review. The following year Mr. Schneider was a law clerk to Judge James L. Oakes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In 1984-1985, he was a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun.
