Margaret Schilt
Margaret Schilt became the Faculty Services Librarian at the D’Angelo Law Library in 2000. She attended the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. Following law school, she practiced law in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 9 years. Ms. Schilt also has a master’s degree in history from Northwestern University and a Masters of Library and Information Science degree from Dominican University.
Ms. Schilt is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries where she has served as chair of the ALL-SIS (Academic Law Libraries Special Interest Section) Faculty Services Committee and as a member of the ALL-SIS Executive Board. She will chair the AALL Council of Newsletter Editors Committee in 2011. Ms. Schilt is also a member of the Chicago Association of Law Libraries where she has served as chair of the Public Affairs Committee and co-editor of the CALL Bulletin. Ms. Schilt is the author of several articles on faculty services and law librarianship and has taught legal research at the Dominican University Graduate School of Library and Information Science. She will co-teach Advanced Legal Research with Todd Ito, Reference Librarian.
