Mr. Schiller is a founder and name partner in the Chicago matrimonial law firm of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP. He focuses his practice on the trial and settlement of complex and high stake divorce cases. He is a former President of the Illinois State Bar Association after Chairing its Family Law Section. A former member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, he continues to serve on its faculty for family law programs. Schiller served on the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association in 1994 and was Chair of its Family Law Section in 1985. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and former National Chair of its Continuing Legal Education Committee. Mr. Schiller is a Diplomat of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers and was selected as one of Illinois’ and the country’s top matrimonial lawyers by a number of publications including Town & Country Magazine, Worth Magazine and the National Law Journal. Peer review publications Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers rate him as one of the top ten lawyers in Illinois. Schiller has been chosen for inclusion in every edition of The Best Lawyers In America and is featured in a Chapter in The Divorce Lawyers, by Emily Couric. His firm, which limits its practice to matrimonial law, has grown to be the nation’s largest of its kind. He writes and lectures extensively in the field of matrimonial law.
