Emily Satterthwaite

Emily A. Satterthwaite received her BA from Yale College in 1997 and her JD from Stanford Law School in 2003.  Following her graduation, Ms. Satterthwaite was awarded a Dorot Fellowship.

From 2004 to 2007, Ms. Satterthwaite practiced law with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City and Chicago with a focus on the federal income taxation of business entities.  In her position as Assistant Director of the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship, Ms. Satterthwaite supervises students in the representation of lower- to middle-income entrepreneurs in the inner city.
