Shannon T. Murphy

Shannon is an associate at Winston and Strawn, where she focuses her practice on white collar criminal matters, corporate internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. Before joining Winston and Strawn, she worked at Greenberg Traurig and at Cabrini Green Legal Aid as a Criminal Defense Attorney Fellow. At Cabrini Green, she ran the organization’s juvenile criminal docket and handled a variety of adult criminal cases.

Shannon graduated from the University of Chicago Law School with high honors in 2009 and was Order of the Coif. During her time at the University of Chicago, she worked in the Juvenile Justice Project of the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Duke University in 2006.
