Jerry Krulewitch
Jerome N. Krulewitch is Senior Vice President and General Counsel – Americas at McDonald's Corporation, where he is responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters in the United States and Latin America. Until early 2002, Mr. Krulewitch was a partner at Winston & Strawn in Chicago, Illinois. He joined that firm as a partner in 2000, practicing in the litigation department. While at the firm, Mr. Krulewitch worked extensively on large class actions involving antitrust, product liability, and claims under consumer fraud statutes. In addition, he supervised and performed numerous internal investigations for publicly trade companies related to allegations of earnings management, reporting irregularities, and various governmental inquiries.
Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Mr. Krulewitch was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Chicago U.S. Attorney's Office from 1990 to 2000. Mr. Krulewitch tried more than thirty cases to verdict in federal court and made more than a dozen oral arguments to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He was lead counsel in the prosecutions of the Treasurer of the City of Chicago, a United States Congressman, William Stoecker, and three Chicago Police officers. At the time he departed, he was Deputy Chief of the General Crimes section. Mr. Krulewitch specialized in financial fraud and public corruption cases.
Mr. Krulewitch is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Krulewitch is a member of the trial bar in the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Krulewitch graduated cum laude from Northwestern School of Law. He graduated Bronze Tablet from the University of Illinois receiving a B.S. in Accountancy.
Mr. Krulewitch is married and has three children.
