James B. Heaton III

J.B. Heaton is a litigation partner with Bartlit Beck Palenchar & Scott LLP.  He received his M.B.A., J.D., and Ph.D. (financial economics) from the University of Chicago in 1999. He regularly lectures and publishes on topics in law and finance. Dr. Heaton's law practice focuses exclusively on litigation for hedge funds and private equity funds. Dr. Heaton also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Law School, and previously taught in the business schools of Duke University and the University of Chicago.
