Todd Fishbein received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1990, Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois in 1993. After law school, Mr. Fishbein practiced transactional real estate and land use law with Katten, Muchin & Zavis and DLA Piper.
Mr. Fishbein then joined Northbrook-based Red Seal Development Corp., a residential real estate development and homebuilding firm. He served as Vice President and General Counsel for four years before becoming President and CEO in 2000. Mr. Fishbein has lead the firm's land acquisition, zoning, and development efforts for dozens of residential projects in the Chicagoland area. He is responsible for overseeing all of the firm's legal matters and, along with his partners, managing a homebuilding and general contracting firm.
Mr. Fishbein served for eight years on the Highland Park Plan Commission, serving as its Vice Chairman for two years. He lives in Highland Park with his wife, Lisa, and their daughters, Talia, Kayla, Sarah, and Emma.
