Melissa E. Dugan

Melissa is a director in the Midwest Forensic Services practice at KPMG. The focus of Melissa's experience has been in assisting clients with conducting internal fraud and misconduct investigations and assisting clients with compliance activities. 

Melissa returned to the Midwest Forensic practice in February 2010, after serving in a national role consisting of a 2.5 year rotation into KPMG's Risk Management Advisory Practice in New York. As part of the Risk Management Advisory role, Melissa provided guidance to Forensic engagement teams regarding complex client contracting issues, addressing unique provision of services to clients, and developing Risk Management policies benefiting the Forensic practice.  Her activities in Risk Management Advisory required significant interaction with KPMG's Office of General Counsel, Global Independence, and Global Risk Management practices.
