Alan D'Ambrosio

Alan D'Ambrosio is a partner based in the New York office of McDermott Will & Emery, and devotes significant time to client matters in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.  His practice focuses on international corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, energy transactions, and international arbitrations.

For more than 30 years,  Alan has actively represented clients and managed client relationships in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.  He has acted as principal counsel to corporations, and negotiated and structured complex business transactions in these geographies.

Alan has handled mergers and acquisitions; major commercial and corporate matters; trade, project, and infrastructure finance; sovereign debt; complex intellectual property and information technology matters (including outsourcing matters); and  multinational litigation and arbitration matters.

Alan has been recognized as a leading practitioner by Chambers US and other national and international groups.

Before joining McDermott, Mr. D'Ambrosio was a Capital Partner at Winston and Strawn (New York, 1999-2003) and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (2003-2102). Prior to his tenure with Winston, he served as the Managing Partner of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay LLP's New York office (New York, 1994-1999), and as a partner at Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis (New York, 1990-1994).

He is admitted to practice before various District Courts and Federal Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.
