Shyam Balganesh received a J.D. from the Yale Law School in 2007, where he was an Articles & Essays Editor of the Yale Law Journal and a Student Fellow at the Information Society Project (ISP). Prior to that he spent two years as a Rhodes Scholar at Balliol College, Oxford and received a B.C.L. (2004) and an M.Phil (2005) in legal philosophy from Oxford University. His undergraduate education was at the National Law School of India, where he received a B.A., LL.B (Hons.) degree in 2003 and clerked for Justice (later Chief Justice) V.N. Khare of the Supreme Court of India. His research and teaching interests include: copyright law, property law, intellectual property, property theory, internet regulation and legal philosophy.
