Bigelow Practical Writing Series: The Role of the Transactional Attorney in the Drafting Process

Thursday, April 19, 2012 - 12:15pm - 1:20pm
Room II

More than a scribe, a transactional attorney is expected to bring value to the drafting table.  Join Allison Satyr (Sidley Austin LLP Partner, Banking & Financial Transactions) and Michael Bloom (Lecturer in Law and Executive Director of the Corporate Lab) for lunch and a discussion about the expectations for transactional attorneys—from senior partners to junior associates—and the ways in which law students may begin now to prepare to meet these expectations later.

This program is part of a series of presentations on practical legal writing that take place throughout the course of the year.  All students are welcome.  Lunch will be provided by Sidley Austin.  This program qualifies for ten Keystone Points in the Written Communication category.
