The Eurozone Debt Crisis
Monday 11/22, 12:05pm Room III
*Lunch provided*

The economic crisis of 2008-2010 has left Ireland and Greece in bankruptcy, and other European countries might be next on the list. The European Union is now considering a €80bn-€100bn rescue package to bail them out, but the Irish government has resisted pressure to accept such a bailout.
What are the global consequences of this crisis? What does it mean to us?
What steps should the EU and other governments take? Should Ireland and Greece be taken off the Euro?
*In sympathy for Greece, we will be serving Mediterranean food.
