Judith Miller and Eugene Haywood at the White House
Following the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic's victory in the case of Eugene Haywood, who served nearly fifteen years of his mandatory life sentence for a nonviolent drug crime when President Barack Obama commuted his sentence, Haywood and Assistant Clinical Professor of Law Judith Miller visited the White House, including a briefing on "Life After Clemency."
