Federal Criminal Justice Clinic Authors Amicus Brief in U.S. v. Davila

The Supreme Court held oral argument on Monday in United States v. Davila, No. 12-167, a case in which the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic wrote a Professors’ Brief on behalf of 57 criminal law and procedure professors from around the country, including UChicago professors Bernard Harcourt, Jonathan Masur, Richard McAdams, and Randolph Stone. Here’s a link to the oral argument transcript; here’s a link to a SCOTUSblog article on Friday that discussed the brief at length and referred to the signers of the brief as Mr. Davila’s “powerful amici”; and here’s a link to WBEZ's interview with the FCJC's Alison Siegler about the case.
