Social Service Project
The Social Service Project includes students working on their Master's Degree in Social Work at the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
- Educate law and social work students regarding the importance of understanding clients within a broader social context.
- Enhance clients' ability to develop and attain psycho-social goals while assisting the legal team in reaching identified legal goals.
- Facilitate change by engaging in systemic advocacy.
- Promote effective interdisciplinary collaboration between social workers and lawyers as well as highlight the importance of involving well trained social workers in the legal environment.
