Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Allyson Ho of Dallas and Richard Figueroa of Brenham to the Texas Judicial Council for terms to expire June 30, 2019. The council studies and reports on the organization and practices of the Texas judicial system.

Earlier this year, President Obama appointed Mythili Raman, ’94 (née Tharmaratnam), as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ). Her new role, in which she oversees nearly 600 staff attorneys and works closely with 93 U.S.
