International Internship Program

The University of Chicago Law School administers an international internship program in which students who have completed at least one year of basic American law study (“JD study”) are considered for summer 2008 employment by employers outside the United States. The purpose of the program is to bring together students who have an interest in international practice with employers who will provide supervision and experience in legal practice. If you have an established summer program for students in your country, the conditions already offered might make a suitable starting point; if you have no existing program, you might consider an hourly, weekly, or monthly wage; a stipend that would cover living and travel expenses, or direct reimbursement for travel and living expenses.
