Fulton
Lecture at the Law School – May 1, 2008
The University of Chicago Law School is proud to
announce the 2008 Maurice and Muriel Fulton Lecture in Legal History. Professor
Gerhard Casper, President Emeritus of Stanford University and former Provost of
the University of Chicago and Dean of the Law School, will deliver the lecture
on Forswearing Allegiance. The lecture will take place on 4:00 p.m. in the
Weymouth Kirkland Courtroom of the University of Chicago Law School, 1111 E.
60th St., Chicago, IL. The lecture is free and open to the public, and a
reception will follow. Please contact Lucienne Goodman, Director of Events and
Conferences, at (773) 702-0877 with any questions.
Reunion 2008 – Chicago – will be held the weekend of May 2-4 for class years ending in 3 and 8. Online registration is up and running. Please contact Jessica Block with any questions or visit the website for

Luncheon with Professor Adam Samaha – May 2, 2008 – Chicago
All alumni are invited to the
Spring 2008 Loop Luncheon featuring Professor Adam Samaha, speaking on “Muskets
and Glocks: The Second Amendment Reborn?” The event will take place at the
Standard Club, 320 South Plymouth Court. The buffet luncheon begins at 12:00
noon, followed by the lecture at 12:30 p.m.
The cost of this event is $25 per person. Please contact Maureen

Mess – May 2, 2008 – Chicago
Join alumni, faculty, and
current students at this spring’s Alumni Wine Mess held during Reunion
Weekend. All alumni are encouraged to
stop by this upscale Wine Mess at the Millennium Park Chase Promenade on their
way home from work on Friday, May 2 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for this event. Please

Emeritus
Luncheon – June 9, 2008 - Chicago
The annual Emeritus Luncheon
for all graduates of the Law School from 1922-1968 will be held on June 9 at
the University Club of Chicago, 76 East Monroe Street. The reception begins at
11:30 a.m. Professor Adam Cox will be
speaking on immigration. This luncheon is complimentary. Please RSVP to events@law.uchicago.edu by June 5, 2008.
