From the University press release:

Emily Nicklin, a lead corporate litigator at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a trustee of the University of Chicago since 2004, has been named chair of the Medical Center’s Board of Trustees.

Nicklin succeeds Rodney L. Goldstein, who was appointed chairman in 2010 and will remain a Medical Center trustee.

Washington and Lee University announced the promotion of six members of its faculty to full professor, while promoting seven faculty members to associate professor and also awarding tenure.

The Board of Trustees approved the promotions and tenures during its meeting in Lexington in May.

After an extensive national search, Arizona Law professor Marc L. Miller has been appointed as dean of the James E. Rogers College of Law, effective immediately. Miller has been serving as interim dean since November, 2012.
