Ms.Dedinas will join the firm as partner, and she brings to the team over 25 years of experience litigating complex civil and commercial cases. Her expertise includes commercial foreclosure, contract disputes, fraud, construction and design defect, intellectual property, and environmental litigation. She has extensive experience representing guardians and estates, clients seeking to remove malfeasant guardians, and those who wish to resist guardianship or seek restoration of capacity. Ms. Dedinas also represents clients in disputed decedents’ estates.
Her recent cases including winning summary judgment in federal court in Chicago for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the successful resolution of a complex commercial foreclosure lawsuit followed by a related $30 million counterclaim. Her proven ability to look beyond the surface and uncoverimportant evidence has earned her clients favorable outcomes on countless occasions.
Ms. Dedinas graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. At Fordham, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and served as the president of the Fordham Debate Society. She studied law at the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a semifinalist in the Hinton Moot Court competition and served as the coach ofthe University of Chicago Debate Society. She lives in Chicago, IL.
