From NorthBaltimorePatch.com:

The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD) has elected Monty Crawford to its board of directors.

A partner with DLA Piper in Mt. Washington, Crawford has over 18 years of corporate and business litigation experience. Along with garnering numerous career accomplishments, the Ellicott City resident was a big factor in NKF-MD’s naming DLA Piper its 2012 Corporate Partner of the Year.

As the 2012 Baltimore Kidney Walk corporate chair, Crawford led the event to record-breaking numbers in attendance and funds. DLA Piper sponsored the Walk, formed a Walk team and recruited Paul Kruger to serve as celebrity ambassador.

Crawford and DLA Piper also hosted NKF-MD’s first ever leadership breakfast; signed on to sponsor the Foundation’s upcoming Santé: Spoil Your Palate event, and they continue to help NKF-MD forge relationships with new business partners.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, Crawford took up studies at Oxford University and earned a law degree from the University of Chicago.
