Matthew Rawlinson '96 Named Office Managing Partner in the Silicon Valley Office of Latham & Watkins
Matthew Rawlinson is a member of the firm's Securities Litigation and Professional Liability Practice Group and its Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. He has extensive experience in complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, including substantial experience representing companies, officers and directors, and accounting firms in connection with financial restatements, stock drops and mergers. He has considerable courtroom experience, and in the last year has served as trial counsel in several matters involving claims totaling more than $1 billion.
Rawlinson joined Latham & Watkins in 1997 after completing a judicial clerkship for the Honorable James B. Loken, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He received his JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 1996, where he graduated with honors, and a BA from Yale University in 1992.
