Lisa T. Scruggs '98 Appointed to ABA's Book Publishing Board and the 2009-2010 Section of Litigation Leadership

Lisa T. Scruggs has been appointed a member of the American Bar Association's Book Publishing Board and the 2009-2010 Section of Litigation leadership for a one-year term that commenced with the adjournment of the 2009 Annual Meeting.

Ms. Scruggs is a member of Jenner & Block's Litigation Department and its Complex Commercial Litigation, Real Estate and Construction Litigation and Health Care Litigation Practices. She also serves on the Firm's Finance, Hiring, and Diversity Committees.

Ms. Scruggs is President of the Board of Directors of the Mikva Challenge, is a Founding Board Member of the Young Women's Leadership Charter School and serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Foundation for Education and Chicago Foundation for Women.

The Section of Litigation, the largest specialty section of the American Bar Association, is dedicated to helping litigators become more effective advocates for their clients. The Section is a legal publisher, a provider of CLE programming, a source of news and analysis, and a strong national voice in discussions concerning the profession.
