Keely Stewart '06 Selected as Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow

Pepper Hamilton LLP is proud to announce thatKeely Stewart has been selected for the 2014 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization made up of the legal profession’s top general counsel and managing partners. Pepper Hamilton has been a member of LCLD since its inception in 2009.

A member of Pepper’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, Stewart focuses his practice on transactional matters. He counsels private equity funds, health care companies, group purchasing organizations, nonprofit organizations and other businesses, with respect to a diverse range of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, financings, business formation issues, strategic planning and general corporate matters.

Stewart joins a class of more than 170 attorneys from around the country who have been selected as LCLD Fellows for 2014—the largest class in the program’s history. Hyung P. Steele, partner in Pepper’s Health Effects Litigation Practice Group, is a 2013 Fellow, Isla L. Long, partner in the firm’s Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group, is a 2012 LCLD Fellow, and Kassem L. Lucas, partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group and the firm’s Partner in Charge of Diversity, is a 2011 Fellow.

Stewart received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School after earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
