Barton Bixenstine, '81, Named Ohio Super Lawyer

COLUMBUS, OH -Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Barton Bixenstine, a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office and an alumnus of the University of Chicago Law School (’81) has been included on the 2015 Ohio Super Lawyers List. Super Lawyers Magazine distinguishes the top five percent of attorneys in Ohio in more than 70 practice areas, and recognizes those who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement as Super Lawyers.

Bixenstine was selected as a Super Lawyer for labor and employment law. He represents employers in employment and labor litigation and has litigated claims involving breach of contract, wage and hour, FMLA, hostile environment, sex harassment, wrongful termination, and age, race, religious and national origin discrimination. Bixenstine is a certified specialist in employment and labor law and has led a variety of trials and arbitrations in state and federal courts involving ERISA claims, restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
