LOTTERY REGISTRATION
During lottery registration you may bid for up to 3 offerings. Rank your bids by entering them in order of preference. They will be filled by lottery, starting with first choices. If you change your mind about a selection, you will have to re-rank all of your selections; deleting one will delete all. There is no advantage to bidding early or disadvantage to bidding late.
If you are taking a seminar that can be 2 or 3 credits, please make certain that you are aware of the requirements for either, and that you inform the instructor and the Registrar's Office if you intend to earn 3 credits before the end of the add/drop period. You will be enrolled for 2 credit hours through the lottery.
Joint Degree students not in residence at the law school this quarter: You MUST follow the above procedure to be included in the lottery. Your regular course registration will need to be done through the division in which you are in residence.

REGULAR REGISTRATION
During regular registration you may register for up to 8 offerings. This includes Independent Researches, multi-quarter courses (i.e., clinic programs, multi-quarter seminars, mini-courses, and workshops), and courses for which registrants have been predetermined.
- Please remember that you MUST enroll for at least 9 credit hours each quarter in order to fulfill your degree requirements.
-
-
If you wish to take more than one course or seminar requiring a major paper in a quarter, you are required to submit a Petition to Take More Than One Paper Course to the Dean of Students, due by the end of add/drop.
- Please remember to register for any multi-quarter offering(s) that you are participating in, as this does not happen automatically.
Once you have completed your registration, we recommend that you print or save a copy of the registration page for your records. If at a later date you believe that there is an error in your registration you will need to demonstrate that you registered successfully.
Joint Degree student not in residence at the law school this quarter: Your regular course registration will need to be done through the division in which you are in residence, although the Law School does not require you to petition to take Law offerings.
Registrations will be viewable on cMore the day after they are entered.

A note regarding journals:
If you wish to be eligible for any of the journals, you must have grades entered for all of your classes by Monday, June 30, 2008, which is the grading deadline for exam classes. This means that if you are taking an elective where the basis for the grade is a paper, you must turn in a paper early enough for the professor to have the time to grade it by that date.
For Health Law (Malani) and Decisionmaking (Baird and Nussbaum), papers are due to the instructor(s) by Monday, June 23, 2008.
A note regarding exams:
If your elective offers an exam as part of the basis for your grade, you will take that exam on Wednesday, June 4, 2008. See the Spring Exam Schedule for more details on all of your exams.
